1. Return Policy Overview
We want you to be completely satisfied with your AutoChlorinator™. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return the product within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
All returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns initiated after 30 days may not be eligible for a refund.
2. Eligibility for Returns
2.1 Items Eligible for Return
- AutoChlorinator™ devices in original condition
- Unopened refill chemicals (in original sealed packaging)
- Accessories in original, unused condition
- Defective or damaged items (any condition)
2.2 Items Not Eligible for Return
- Opened or partially used refill chemicals (for safety and health reasons)
- Items damaged due to misuse, abuse, or improper installation
- Items missing original packaging or accessories
- Items returned after 30 days from delivery
- Final sale or clearance items (if applicable)
3. How to Initiate a Return
To return your AutoChlorinator™ product, please follow these steps:

Contact Us: Email us at returns@autochlorinator.com with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the item (if damaged or defective)
- Receive Return Authorization: We will respond within 1-2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions.
- Package Your Return: Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if possible) and include all accessories, manuals, and components.
- Ship the Return: Ship the item to the address provided with your RMA. Use a trackable shipping method and retain your tracking information.
- Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Important: Returns shipped without an RMA number may be refused or delayed. Please contact us before sending any returns.
4. Return Shipping Costs
4.1 Defective or Damaged Items
If your AutoChlorinator™ arrives defective or damaged, we will cover all return shipping costs. We will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label.
4.2 Non-Defective Returns
For returns due to buyer's remorse or change of mind, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is covered by our free return shipping promotion.
4.3 Incorrect Items Shipped
If we shipped you the wrong item, we will cover all return shipping costs and send you the correct item at no additional charge.
5. Refund Process
5.1 Refund Timeline
Once we receive your return, we will:
- Inspect the item: 1-2 business days
- Process your refund: 3-5 business days
- Credit appears in your account: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank or credit card company)
5.2 Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.
5.3 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:
- Item returned without original packaging
- Item shows signs of use beyond normal product testing
- Item is missing accessories or components
- Item is returned after 30 days but within 60 days (50% refund)
6. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need to exchange your AutoChlorinator™ for a different model or product:
- Return your current product following the return process above
- Place a new order for the desired product
- Once your return is processed, you will receive a refund for the original purchase
For defective items, we can expedite a replacement shipment before receiving your return to minimize downtime.
7. Defective Products and Warranty Claims
7.1 Warranty Coverage
AutoChlorinator™ products come with a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. If your product is defective:
- Within 30 days of delivery: Full refund or replacement (your choice)
- 31-365 days after delivery: Free replacement unit
- After 1 year: Contact us for warranty service options
7.2 Filing a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim:

- Provide your order number and description of the issue
- Include photos or videos demonstrating the defect
- Follow our troubleshooting steps (if applicable)
8. Damaged or Lost Returns
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method with insurance when returning items. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment unless we provided the return shipping label.
Please retain your shipping receipt and tracking information until your refund is processed.
9. International Returns
International customers may return products subject to the same terms, with the following additional considerations:
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (unless item is defective)
- Items must be returned through trackable international shipping
- Original customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable
- Return shipping may incur additional customs processing
- Allow additional time for international return processing (up to 14 business days)
10. Refused or Undelivered Packages
If you refuse delivery of your AutoChlorinator™ or if the package is returned to us as undeliverable:
- You will be refunded the product cost minus original shipping fees
- You may be charged a restocking fee of 15% if the refusal was not due to product defect
- If you want the order re-shipped, you will be responsible for new shipping charges
11. Pre-Order Cancellations
For pre-order items that have not yet shipped:
- Cancellations can be made at any time before shipment
- Full refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Once the item ships, standard return policy applies

12. Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees for standard returns within 30 days, except in the following cases:
- Item returned without original packaging: 10% restocking fee
- Item missing accessories or components: 15% restocking fee
- Refused delivery (non-defective items): 15% restocking fee
- Item shows excessive use beyond testing: 20% restocking fee
